What is Whole 30?

First, before I talk about food, I have to brag on my awesome boyfriend, who gave me beautiful tulips!!!!

On top him giving me those AND a really cute wallet/clutch bag, M treated me to a fancy dinner last night at Zebra Restaurant.

It’s DEFINITELY not Paleo, but was DEFINITELY delicious, and worth the food/drink hangover this morning!

Since we were all gussied up and doing the whole fine dining thing, I opted not to take pictures of food. But here’s what we had to eat:

Appetizers:

  • Truffled Mushroom Foie Gras Soup
  • Lobster, Shrimp and Avocado Cocktail 

Salads:

  • Traditional Caesar Salad 
  • Organic Beets Salad with Sheep’s Milk Roquefort and Walnuts 

Entrees:

  • Lamb Tenderloins Au Poivre, Celeriac Mash, Melted Swiss Chard 
  • Tournedoes of Beef Tenderloin Dianne, Fingerling Potatoes and Prosiutto Asparagus 

Desserts :

  • Vanilla Bean Crème Brulee 
  • Chocolate Pecan Tart with Raspberries
